Has anybody put their radiator in the bed? I was thinking of putting mine on the 2 roll cage bars that come down out of the back glass with a elec fan. What would you use for a pump and hoses??
That should be good for weight transfer and more room up front.

the radiator is only ten pounds, its equivalent to about a gallon 1/2 of gas.. if anything, the only thing you\'ll gain is more room up front.. I don\'t think you\'d notice any different in weight transfer and its probably not worth all the extra work..
just my 2cents

It\'s a cool setup...I\'ve seen it in person. I\'ve also seen where they put the intercooler for the trubo trucks in the bed and have it in a cooler filled with ice...man that rocks! You do have to make some duct work right before the bed to bring air up to the radiator from underneath the truck ...kinda a scoop type deal, definately check out the Lingenfelter site...If I can dig up some detailed pics of it I\'ll post em! Good luck!

we do it on the mud trucks i build, mud bog trucks put them in the back so that they dont get cloged up w/ mud and to run more coolant, and some of them run 10,000 rpm and stay cool so id assume itd be ok, as long as you did do some cutting and air flo directing, hey and you can use an electric watter pump so you can cool it down with it shut off
