I was driving home on my bike tonight and got hit by my second favorite vehicle in the whole world - an S-10. Bike is ridable, but probably totalled. Kid got his license yesterday. I flew over the hood and everything. GRRRRRRR......

Holy banged up Honda Batman. Glad you are OK. It would have taken every ounce of energy for me not to beat the crap oout of the guy.

grimpuppy - It did. I got up off the ground, opened the guy\'s door and started screaming at him. Then the pain hit me...
Indiana - I\'ll live, but I\'m very sore. There are some very sensitive things that bounced off that gas tank...
Thanks for the concern, guys. Hopefully the insurance company gives me enough dough to get a new one.

Check your laws. When I rode a bike, the state law gave the person on the bike extra compensation, if the person that hit you was in the wrong.

One more thing. I was a member of AIM. I never used the service, but it may be worth looking into.

The description of the pain sounds far worse than the condition of the bike! Hopefully you\'ll be OK though.
Unfortuately people in cars seem oblivios to the fact that there are other pwople on the raods like motorcycles. They just don\'t understand that raod bikes aren\'t like off road bikes they just can\'t hook a turn like most people think.
My dad used to ride with an extra set of driving lights on his bike just so people would see him. At night the raod was light as day.
Safe.

Perhaps it is my sick fun, but exactly what is it they will buy you? http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif

they make replacements for that??? LOL
glad to hear you\'re OK. That\'s one reason I have decided not to get a bike. As safe as you may be, the roads are full of careless idiots.

LOL, I meant hopefully they give me enough money to get a new bike. I don\'t think any amount of money could replace the personal parts that were injured. The boys (you know what i mean) have been feeling much better.

BTW is that your tag bracket on the lower left of the bike? If so where did you get it and does it have a tag light? Cops like to pull us over for no tag light when we move out plates.

Glad to see you\'re okay. I ride an 04 Gsxr 600. It\'s bright yellow. So far it has saved me a few times...
