I have a 97 S-10 ,w/ a 02 Blazer rear-end in it, I don\'t know the gear , or even the size of the rear-end...it was swapped when I bought the truck. ( the rear-end does not have any sort of posi)

My question is:

Would I mess anything up by running slicks on it? If not, what size of slicks could I run?

In the near future I plan on putting in a Auburn or Eaton L.S.D. in it ....will i break anything running slicks with a L.S.D. ?

Sorry to sound like such a dumbass, but I don\'t know anything about suspension or rear-ends.
