He says it has 300 HP. Do you think it is true?

It\'s very possible. I saw a car craft article where they built one with ported/milled heads, headers, throttle body, injectors, cam and intake that made a little over 300hp.



Maybe they copied that build.

I thought they were claiming 300 flywheel hp.

It is very possible. If you don\'t think it is so then you have been camping out with bin laden cause obviously you have been living in a cave for the past 30 years.



Lingenfelter had a 4cyl car that put out I think over 1,200hp. If not more. Infact he died in that car. I have a Sport truck article where they built a 300hp+ 4.3L. Now I must admit there\'s was a dyno queen. The cam lift was gigantic. Not very streetable.



I have a friend with a 4cyl civic putting out about 300hp. At the Wheels. It is turbo but it is done. I\'ve read articles where they have built 400hp N/A 4cyls. I had a kid at our school who\'s father drove a Lotus. 4 to be exact. (He worked at a lotus dealership) and those things put out some high HP.



But getting 300hp out of a 6cyl especially one based off of a chevy Small Block is more than possible. It is easy.

Heck yeah its possible, and not all that hard to do. Does that mean he did it? Not really, get some time slips...
