4.56\'s in a 7.5

Has anyone run 4.56\'s in a 7.5 rear and have you had any problems with it???? I have a 406,350 trans, and 3.73s now... I ran a 7.96 at the track saturday, and had to shift into high gear right at the end of the 1/8.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!?!?!?!?

4.56 is a good 1/8 mile gear, but if you run any1/4\'s you might run out of gear.......im currently running 4.10 in a 7.5 rear and im shifting about 75 yards before the traps.....

i have them but havent really put them to the test yet. but i also have an overdrive?

are you trying to run all out in the 1/8th or want it to be able to run the 1/4. I have 4.56s and go through the traps around 5700 in high gear 1/8th mile on 28\" tires. i plan on going to 30\" tires to run the 1/4.

I have 29 inch tall tires and most of the tracks around here are 1/8 mile...

Ray whats your combo motor wise???

i have 4.88\'s and a 5000 stahl convertor and turning 6500 through the traps with 28\" tall tire.
