Normally. Double pumpers have idle circuits for the secondaries as well, and in that case, the answer would be BOTH.

i got fuel dripping out in the back bowls at idle is this normal if not how do i fix it.

If you\'re saying that Fuel is dripping down the carb from the booster, then it sounds like the rear Float is adjusted too high IMO. With the car running, check the fuel level by Opening the sight hole on the side of the carb or use clear sights if you have them.

If Fuel is flowing out, the float level is too high. Adjust so than fuel only trickles out, with engine running. If you have a electric fuel pump, you can adjust the floats with the pump running & engine not running. Hope this helps.
