Body drop as in Channel the body below the frame or a suspension drop?
A suspension is lowering \"kit\" is so much easier. Basicly lowering springs, a set of lowering spindals and lower blocks and a leaf removel for the rear - according to how long you want to go.
As for channeling, a good amount of welding and body experiance would be very helpfull. So, to make a long story short, you have to cut the floor in one big piece, lower the body, make L braces and weld everthing back together. I wish it were really as easy as I just stated. You do have to make sure that it will be structurely supportive to prevent the body \"rolling\" of the chassis.
Space.
and here i was thinking this was an electrical question..hmm try some butt connectors and solder should work great

HEY 283- WHAT DO YOU WANT TO KNOW ??A
1\" BODY DROP COULD BE ACHIEVED BY REMOVING THE \"BODY MOUNT\" BUSHINGS.YOU\'LL HAVE A HARSHER RIDE OF COURSE,SINCE THE BODY WOULD BE MOUNTED DIRECTLY TO THE FRAME.ON THE BED YOU\'D HAVE TO NOTCH THE BED BRACES
AN INCH TO EQUAL THE FRONT DROP.ANYTHING MORE THAN THAT,AS SPACECADET SAID-LOTS OF LABOR,AND A MAJOR DISASSEMBLY OF YOUR INTERIOR/DASH
SEATS/CARPET/FRT. CLIP/BED/BUMPERS,ETC.
MAJOR WELDING MY FRIEND!!EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!!! THATS MY .02 CENTS- JAMES.

Hey 283. An easy way to drop the Body is to Bag your truck. There is tons of Baggin\' parts & info out there on this. The stuff for S10\'s look simple to install and the ride quality is much better than using Hydraulics.
