more members don\'t mean better, we only want serious members, we don\'t need people that aren\'t serious. we don\'t want more off topic posts then on topic posts like every other site, a user shouldn\'t need to sort through crap to find the answers they are looking for.

/\\ what the webmaster said.

You know the thing is, in my opinion... the reason why there aren\'t THAT many people swarming around this site is because V8 S10\'s are somewhat of a rarity. Sure, they\'re not super rare or hard to come by, but you don\'t become a valuable member because your parents just bought you 2.2L S10 for Christmas and you plan on putting a wing on it. The problem I see with other boards is that you can go out and buy a Honda Civic then get a K&N filter then go join Hondaperfomanceracers.com because of it.

The thing I like about this community is that most of the people have experience with this stuff and the other percentage is serious and eager to learn about it. Myself for example, I do not know nearly as much as a lot of people on this board but I am absolutely serious about it (as you can see I\'m doing the swap in my pics) and I am happy to share the knowledge that I gain from others and from my own experience.

When it all comes down, I just want to say that having more members doesn\'t do shit, but having more quality members is the key to a good community. If you can find more quality members, and you can make this community expand with the status is has know, then by all means that would be great.

i think the average is close to 400 members on the site PER DAY and 1500 members total 400 people with good info is great but more are welcome if there serious good members WELCOME im glad we can better serve your needs

i think maybe if we had a gust pass that was free... but didn\'t allow people to post on the forums or post comments about the pics then the members had to pay? i thought it might be a good idea... i\'ve seen that on other sites before (no not porn ones) people arent going to want to pay for a site if they justw ant to come on here and bullshit about stuff not related to the site... also i think the best way of advertising is to attend car shows and EVERY active member that cares about this site and is a huge supporter like me should have a sticker on their trucks... also... if mike would allow me i\'m sending in a picture and discription of my truck to minitruckin magazine and i will mention about the site... just a couple of idea\'s what\'s everyone think about them?

oh and how bout a how to section... if any of the members are doing something custom on their truck then we can post pictures and discriptions of how to do it... for example... installing a shift kit, shaved door handles, or even installing a cam... and i have the pictures of all the steps of doing my flame paint job... just maybe a few features that might be of interst to see but could be to much work, i\'m not too great with web desighn or anything so i\'m not sure how much work it would involve

a how to section would be a great idea just one suggestion make sure it is shown done correctly many people do the same job differently not that one way is nessasarily better but it we show how to install a camshaft i say we use the direction from a GM manual or some thing simular.just to help avoid the arguments

SINCE EVERYONE SEEMS TO HAVE THE SAME GENERAL THOUGHTS I SEE NOTHING WRONG WITH DEVOTING MORE TIME FOR THE CAUSE,THIS SITE IS MORE INFORMATIVE THAN OTHERS,WE ALL SEEM TO HAVE THE SAME COMMON GROUND.I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO SEE MORE OF THE PEOPLE YOUNGER AND OLDER TO COME IN AND PARTICIPATE

I had asked to have this section awhile back and now it is on the front page of this site but still to date I have only received one tip. I think that this is a great idea but without input it will go nowhere as it has now. We just need more people to give input. What you think might be stupid or everyone else already knows that just might be what someone else on this site could use or learn. Rob
