View Full Version : Motor mount question
I know that you guys recommend the Stealth motor mounts, but I got the TD performance mounts for Christmas, and free is for me, so I\'m not complaining. For those of you that did use the TD mounts, did you use the high or low mount position, and which position would you recommend using, and why?
Merry Christmas.
Zack.

From my point of view and opinion (although I used the stealth mounts)... I\'d say that it\'s best for you to make your own call because your engine position may be different than others due to transmission, exaust, radiator, etc. Some test fitting will answer that real quick. Although there may be a common setting but I couldn\'t tell you which.

Did it come with instructions? I think the top hole(makes the motor lower) is for the blazer and the bottom hole or slot?(makes the motor sit higher) is for the pickups. Anyone else have any input?

the blazer cross member and s-10 cross memeber are a littlwe bit different... the mounts sit higher on the blazer so you have to use the ones that would position the engine lower down... or for a truck you use the ones that position it higher up... work\'s like a charm... i just made my own mounts thuogh veiw my pictures to see em
