How is everyone wiring thier trucks after the swap....Mine is a 12 circut Painless Wiring Harness....And let me tell you, It dont get no easier than that. I had all kinds of hell with the stock FI harness shorting things out so that was the best thing.
I used the stock wiring. Well not all of it, 60% of it went in the trash.

same here ..i used the factory wires ..but most of the wires went to the injection or computer ...i just used the mian hot (red)wire to power all my other things like head lights brakes lights etc...and put most of the other wires in the trash...at the time i did\'t have 200.00dollars to get a pain less harness...i hope that you got it running http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

Ditched all the wiring for the computer. I reused the wiring for the alternator, and the starter. Then just 1 hot wire to the HEI.

i found the easiest way to do it when switching to a carb\'d engine is to go to a wrecking yard and get a wiring harness from a 86 or older s-10 it should plug right into your fuse block and only has the wires you need... most wrecking yards will be glad to trade you your f.i. wiring harness for a carb\'d one...

99.99% stock just movedthe clutch switch to the shifter so it will only start in park but not neutral and added 1 wire to coil + from starter to make start better
