I need a reducer for my oil cooler line, the oil line is 1/2\" goodyear hose, and the nipples on the B&M cooler are 3/8\". Does anyone make this size reducer? I looked at canadian tire in the auto department and in the plumbing department. Anybody know?

Are you needing a fitting with 3/8\" female on one side and 1/2\" male on the other end? If not tell me what the fitting needs to be and I probably have one if it is pipe threads. I won\'t have one if it is AN fitting. I would just throw it in the mail to ya for free if I got it.

I think i need a male fitting, so i can hook up the 1/2\" hose and 3\"8\" hose together. then the 3\"8\" hose would go over top of the cooler nipple. Thanks

Ah IC. I don\'t have any reducing nipples. I do have a fitting that is 3/8\" male on one side an 1/2\" female on the other. And I have a 1/2\" nipple. You could screw the first fitting it into your 3/8\" hose then screw the 1/2\" nipple into that fitting and screw your 1/2\" hose onto the nipple. Let me know if ya want them.

I got some reducers, but now when i fire it up, oil pisses out from the top of the filter. I am not sure where it is coming from or what i did wrong.

Does your kit have the adapter that bolts where your filter was then your filter screws onto the bottom of the adapter? If so I believe most of them require a ford filter on the adapter. If you put a Chevy one back on that might be the problem.

yes that is the one I have, the kit bolts to where the filter was. i have a fram ph8A filter which it says to use in the table of filters. It seems to be leaking between the adaptor and the motor.I have the round aluminum piece with the O- ring, against the engine, then the adaptor with the O ring, then the extended nipple thing that screws everything on. The god damn thing still pisses oil. I don\'t know what to do.
