ontop of clearance issues with my CANTON oil pan hitting my front differential housing, i just realized that when i went to install the dipstick in the hole, the fitting on the dipstick isn\'t the same size and the tube slid down into the oil pan! there must be a compressin type fitting that screws into the pan that will accept the dipstick. otherwise the dipstick is the wrong one ar the pan has the wrong piece welded on the side. i have checked the shipping boxes and cant find anything extra in them.
