Ok, i am having problems with a severly leaking oil filter sandwich adaptor for my oil cooler. It pisses oil out immediatley on start up. Now it is to be tightened no more then 18 ft lbs. And the oring with it seems to just be able to go around where the old filter sealed to the engine. Now for the real question. I see there is a hole in the block inside the oil pump/filter nipple area. does oil come out of this hole for any reason? cause if the adaptor is attached to the nipple, oil shouldn\'t leak anywhere you would think.
