just bought a 15 gall fuel cell. my tank is rusted and leaking so it was time. my question is what do I do for fuel lines, I figure I would use braided line. but as far as fittings for the fuell cell I know there 2 fittigs that are #8 fitting ? that what the ad said. DO the fittings I need to get just have nipples and I hose clamp the line on ? just want some reccomendations or whatever the norm is. got it new off ebay with sender for 200 seemed to be good deal. its new rci. So any tips would be great Im gonna be running a holley red also.

I used summit straight swivel female coupler. baraided hose attaches one end of fitting and then to outlet of tanks fitting screw on no hose clamps not safe. i ordered 2 of them for tank and one rollover vent for top of tank .. fuel line from tank to pump to regulator to fuel rail i used 6an fitting for pump, regulator and fuel rail remember that pump needs to be close to tank better to push fuel then pull burns up pump. hope it helps G

This is how I did mine. This is braided from fuel cell to the pump and push lock from pump to the regulator. You can see the fittings in this pic.
PS: The push lock is much easier to work with.

Your cell is going to have 2 male 8AN fittings. You will need some 8AN hose and 8AN female fittings for the hose. If you get the standard 8AN female fittings here is a link that tells you how to assemble the hose. How to assemble Braided Hose (http://www.holley.com/data/TechService/Technical/Swivel-Seal%20Hose%20Assembly.pdf) If you go this route, You need these fittings to hook to your tank (http://www.holley.com/data/products/pictures/large8001__.jpg) plus the #8 braided line.
If you get push lock or other type, you just need to follow the instructions on how to assemble it.

I've never seen any preassembled lengths except for fuel inlets for carbs. The pushlock assembly is very simple. It just has a barbed fitting and you lube the fitting and push like hell. You can put the fitting against the concrete floor and push the hose on. Thats it. But forget taking it back off. You will have to split it with a knife to get the fitting out of it. Earls make fittings for the pushlock. Aeroquip also makes it. Aeroquip is pricey but very good quality. You can purchase the braided or pushlock in rolls of predetermined length or by the foot. Jegs, Summitt, Competition Products, just about everybody carries it.
BTW, I have used both. Braided is alot more expensive and harder to use. But it's probably a little bit safer from abrasions. If I had it to do again, I wouldn't hesitate to use pushlock all the way.

As for preassembled lengths, I take back what I said. I've seen preassembled lengths, but it was commercial applications, not automotive. Not saying they don't make 'em. But I've never seen 'em.
