Good Buck Grim, The last 13 years in the service I was always deployed in the middle east during hunting season, so I haven't been for way too long. Now that I'm retired and living in a new place I haven't located a place to hunt. My first time deer hunting in like 4 or 5 years me and my father both got bucks

Deer? They are a fairy tale. I've been out just about every day this season.......I see sign all over the place.........but I haven't seen so much as a damn tail go. I just bought a brand new Marlin 30-30 all stainless steel.......was hoping to break it in right this year. Oh well.

I've been a couple time this year.. It was jus way to hot down here during bow season, i think i only went once.. I've been goin duck huntin for the last few weekends, first year in a long time that i've seen anywhere near a good number of ducks.. I love hunting, but between work and school, I dont get to put alot of time in.



I did kill a small 6, it wasnt much, but its the only thing with horns for the past 3 years, so Im happy. also got a little doe



my brother killed a spike and a doe, and my fiance got a button buck.



but hey, theres always late muzzleloading. Im not giving up yet
