Totaled my v-8 s10 yesterday. Pics up

I was goin to sams club to get gas in my truck with a friend and i made a right onto mill road from 81 coming from mcdonough and was going down the road and at the last second, i see a truck turning into the church parking lot but he was stopped in the middle of the road because there were cars coming the other way so i try to slow down and my brakes are really shitty and im going too fast and i had so swerve right into the huge ass ditch at about 45mph and i flipped. my roof in my truck is where my chest should be and everything is all bent up. how do i put up pictures?

It least your ok I know it sucks to wreck the truck but, now you just have to find another truck to put your engine and stuff in.

i'm sorry to hear it. damage isn't nearly what i expected though, really could be repared unless there's frame damage, but it looks like it's all in the roof. body's actually still good.

Glad you're ok. Thats a shame tho, nice lookin truck you had there. doesn't look totally beyond repair, but probably easier to just swap everything over to a truck in good shape.

Yeah a real shame. Was a really nice truck. But like others have said, at least you're OK. So you can rebuild a new one as nice as your old ride.

......... Had a similar accident near me a little while back, except in reverse. A young woman turned into a side street in front of an oncoming truck, someone simultaneously backed out into the side steet blocking her path. That was real ugly.

Granted mine was not as nice a truck as yours but it still hurt real bad to loose it... Hopfully you can fix yours with a new cab, right front fender and front bumper if your frame is not bent, mine had to go over a cement median before it rolled over and I had damaged wheels and tires along with a bent frame and rear axle, all I had left bodywise was a front fender and the tail gate... Like others have said, Keep The Faith, if worse comes to worse you will build another and you've got lots of good parts there...

yeah. theres a small dent or something on every single body panel. the roof and front left fender are the worst. i didnt really like the paintjob all that much and ive been wantind to paint it white and im going to put a cage in my next one and do some more work on it to make it safer and may just drag race it. im only 16 so i have alot of time to make my dream ride and alot of work to do. im just going to find one woth a blown engine or something and swap body's.

Did the cops say anything about the V8 in it, did you get a ticket?

nope. i didnt get a ticket and he didnt say anything abput court. he asked me how fast i was going and since my speedometer is off cause of the 350 turbo tranny i was like umm i dont know because it has a adifferent transmission in it and it messes up the speedometer and its on the insurance as a 6 cylinder so its a good thing that he didnt pop the hood.
