I bought the superior radiator and am going to start the conversion soon on my gen 2 S-15. The person at Superior told me this is pretty straight forward job. Once I pull out the old radiator it'll be obvious as to what is required to mount it.

I'd like to hear from those who have already done this to get tips on what to do and not to do.

For instance what did you do for the lower mount? Did you somehow put rubber to isolate/protect from vibration, etc? There's just 2 aluminum tabs that look like you merely bolt it down without any vibration protection.

If you'd add pictures, that would be great too.

Thanks for the help. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

s10v8.com prefers the Corvette Radiator (http://www.s10v8.com/store/product_info.php/products_id/46)

You can use scrap pieces of rubber hose to isolate the radiator.

You can also take a look at the stock position radiator mounts (http://www.s10v8.com/store/product_info.php/cPath/26/products_id/51) or the forward radiator mounts (http://www.s10v8.com/store/product_info.php/cPath/26/products_id/52) pictures are shown of both

I've seen the superior radiator used and they had a piece of rubber fuel line and split it and put between the mounting tabs and the radiator support. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif
