is there in diffrent between a 1988 automatic motor and a 1985 stright shift will the 85 trassmission hook on to 88 automatic motor they both are 2.5 what will i have to do to make them work

if you are using a stick in the truck with the auto matic motor you will have to use the flywheel and clutch off of the old stick motor and get a new pilot bushing for the new motor.
