TCI should have included a instruction sheet with the kit. The external hook up can be changed. This site (http://www.smokemup.com/tech/700r4.php)can help with the diagram. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

not really sure what you are needing help with because you didn't really ask a question in your post.... but, I used one from painless wiring.... they are all pretty much the same and it's not hard to do at all... just follow the instructions that came with it and you will be fine.

I did not use a kit--battery+ to A thru brake switch and vacuum switch from mid 80's chevy full size p/u--NAPA part--connect the other 2 wires on the connector to each other--this gave lockup in 4th gear only--mine is a 1991 trans--should be same in 1992--did not have to open pan

I had the tci kit and it was overpriced and did not work well in my truck. the pressure switch provided would cycle excessively when climbing hills. There is no way to prevent cycling beacuse the tci switch turns on and off at the same vacuum. I tried adjustments from just off idle to almost full throttle and could not get a good feel with the lockup. Also my upper radiator hose went once and got the switch wet, the switch died the next day. I finally went with the stuff GM used to control lockup. I found an excelent writeup here converter lockup wiring (http://www.73-87.com/7387garage/drivetrain/lockup.htm)
The painless kit looks like it uses the gm stuff and the wiring looks top notch. After i replaced the tci vacuum switch with GM parts lockup finally felt right, No more lockup cycling.
