All back together

I put my truck back together 350 700r4, with new vette servo and govener. run it down the road shifted great! turned around to come back and the truck acts like something is holding it back? Idles great revs up great put in gear fine, give it the gas lugs. could it be the govener or the servo? I checked the emergence breaks tires turn good. any Ideas?Ps. I adjusted the timing and that did not help.

Sounds like something broke. However I am not a auto tranny builder. My buddy had one that acted the same way after he took it for a beat-on rip. The tranny builder said a band had split.

Me, snce ths happened after the new parts, if the old parts are still OK. I would try and put them back in the tranny anad see if it s the same. ( Just to rule out the new parts faliure possibilty.)

Also I would check the wiring for the servo.
