Drive shaft/ shifter stick with T-56 tranny?

Have any of you put the T-56 transmission in with your LS2 as well? I'm just wondering if the stick will line up and if I'll have to have my drive shaft shortened..

So do the teeth for the stock S10 shaft work with the T-56? Or what I'll have to do about the yokes?

I have the LT1 with the six speed in my s10 and with bucket seats the shifter comes up about even with the front of seats. Mine is a regular cab ong bed. It acually is just right for me. I also have the B&m short throw shifter which you can adjust forward or back.

I also had to have the drive shaft shortend about 3 inches on the front half of the shaft since it is a 2 piece shaft.

My s10 is an 85 and had a five speed in it. The slip yoke from the 85 five speed fit in the 6 speed. I'm gonna get a different yoke sometime just b/c it is from 85.

If you look in my pic album you might be able to see where the shifter is coming up.
