Hey there, I'v been here a couple times and I finally decided to put a 350 small block with a TH350 tranny in my 95 S10. I was just wondering if the stock tranny mounts will work or if I was going to need to shorten the driveshaft, or get a diffrent yoke. If it helps it was a 1.8L 4-banger with a 5-speed manual transmission. thanks in advance http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif

Welcome to the site. You will need to get the 2.8L frame mounts and the engine mounts listed in the parts section. As for the tranny mount a mount for the t-350 is what you would need. The mount on the t-5 I believe is a bigger/wider bolt pattern. (Someone will correct me if I am wrong, THanks!)

As for t he drive shjaft its all according to the t350 you have Because ther are different lenght tail shafts. 3,6 and 9 I beleive.

Space.

Hey Space, I think he could get the driveshaft and the cross member from a 4.3 auto truck and it would work. Sasuke246x if you are wanting to retain a/c and not move the radiator the stock length driveshaft will not work. The motor will need to move back to gain the clearance needed to keep the radiator in the stock location, which shortens the length need for the driveshaft. I'm not saying it's impossible, just no room for any fans behind the radiator.
