reverse rotation

Ok, is the water pump from a 99 Jimmy with 4.3L TBI the same water pump as aaaaa, lets say a 93 with 4.3L CPI?

I know there is rotation to take into account...the dealership didn't know, so I come to you all.



PS...the fan turns left, belts turn right on the 99 jimmy.

Jusbo, both pulleys for the water pump is smooth. The pulleys use the back side for the serpentine belt. Both would turn the same direction. Both water pumps are interchangable. All Chevy v motors turn the same direction. A v8 water pump would aslo work, but best to keep what you have. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif
