2001 computer under the dash

Hi Guys,



I'm running a carbed 406 with aftermarket gauges. I don't have ABS or anything like that. My question is can I cut that computer out from under the dash? It's right in the middle right above the floor heater fent. I was taking ALL my heater and AC stuff out from under the dash and saw it. :?:

I say just keep it in there, what harm is it doing? But then again its your truck if it bugs you (like it did me) then take it out, but don't cut until you are sure everything is cool.
