no oil pressure help

i just changed my intake 5.7 small block started it up oil pressure 45 pis turned it off start it back up now i have no oil i checked it with a analog gauge and nothing ?



lifters knock hope i dint brake any then runing it for 2 mins

Drop the pan and check the pick up tube. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif You can drop it down a enough to get your hand in to feel around. If the tube fell off that is the cause. Hope you killed it in time.

thnks for the replays i found the problem never buy fram oil filter i changed it to a acdelco works fine

ditto. Cut a fram open sometime. Compare to wix or ac delco and you'll crap yourself when you see the inferior materials used in fram filters. I wouldn't use one on a lawn mower.
