Vette radaitor

Anybody know what size hose fits tightly around the vette lower raidaitor hose fitting. My flex hose is way to fat for it and leaks a little.

the jrt manual lists it two hoses you have to cut and conect one was from a ford truck the top one they listed did not fit my truck 98 with corvette rad in normal spot i used 72 camaro 350. my manual got trashed and i don't remeberwhat the bottom 2 were

Typeo, the connection for both upper and lower is 1 5/16".

I tried messing with the flex hoses as well. The upper worked fine but the lower just wasn't cutting it. I got the Ford F-150 hose reccomended in the book, spliced where noted and it went right in. Works great. Just remember to cut it long when in doubt, you can always take more off, but you can't put some back on.

I ended up just grabbing a bunch of hoses at a junkyard and splicing what I had together till I found a combination that worked. I think the part that connected to the water pump was from my 4.3 and the part that connected to the radiator was from like a 90s Corsica.
