Still looking 4 a tilt column!!!!

hey guys, not having any luck around me. so far from what ive been told thanks to some helpful people on this site is that due to me having an 84 s10 blazer and wanting a tilt column i can only use up to early production 88. i was told 82-85 didnt have tilt at all, 85-early 88 does have tilt and fits my truck cause it has the same firewall. like i have said anyone that can help im looking for tilt only, does NOT need delay wiper, and would RATHER NOT have column shift. beggers cant be choosers but just looking for a good price and a good part. i got a place down here in my hometown that has a shit load of blazers and trucks. i got to go in the morning to get some things for my 96 jimmy, i will look around for you if i see one i will get it and then we will get together on it....

Customs. For your info. I ground the welds off the piece that bolts onto the firewall and changed it to the later sty.e. works good. Bernie Steffen bstef@mchsi.com

I took one out of a early Blazer and switched over my turn signal stalk. I also used my peice of my column to replace the shifter part on the Blazer column. I had the same need you do because I don't have pulse wipers or cruse.

i have an 84 tilt column w/key it is a column shift style 65.00

look at my early pics on here. i had an 87 monte ss column installed in my 86 blazer. the firewall is different but you can do the same with a later s10. with the s10 column everything will plug right up you will just have to cut the mounting plate off the end of the column. (not the whole thing) just look at it and see what needs to be cut. the you can drill your new holes and mount it to the fire wall. PM me if you have any questions on how to do this.

I got mine out of an 87 Blazer. It is tilt with no shifter. It fit right in my 85 pickup with no modification. From what I have found, the tilt columns with manual trans was much more common in blazers than pickups. So your best bet is to look for a blazer column up to 88.

I got one for ya out of an 86 jimmy, tilt for manual trans, 90 bucks plus shipping. cleaning house!
