need help on my v30 4x4

the problem is first start when cold it will not run ..run very rich.rough and miss..ack like the coke was stuck.but .its is tbi motor and.i replaced the coolant sencer and tps .and computer..the computer i tried did come from e-bay i never check it out ..runs rough the first 2mins or so then like a switch it will run good with both computer .. i now it running very rich first start because smells like fuel..thanks for all the help...run the same on two computers

Have you seen a check engine light? How old or functioning is the EGR valve? The valve staying stuck open will cause the condition you are explaining. The engine runs smooth after and the exhaust is nornal, correct? The valve being open is the same as a huge vacuum leak. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif

THe temp sensor will cause this same issue.

If you have acces to a engine computer I would sugggest checking the temp sensor to see what the computer sees. WHen the sensor or connection goes bad it will telll your computer that the engine temp is neg 140 degere celcius.

Also if there is a loose ground on the harnes it could also create this issue. THere is a 'gang' of grounds on the t-stat housing stud. Check them, clean them.

i now it something that i am over looking ..not a bad computer..i did try 3 of them i do have a scaner....its has no vac leaks..the computer is reading the sencer..i will look at more of the wiring..and try another sensor tomorrow..it is running way to rich ..when first start up when cold..see the diff on the injector spray cold vrs.warm engine.i didn't see what it say when first start ..when cold ..i will watch the scaner torrow..see what its doing

got it working ,,guest i will never buy a cheep new part again..got a ac sensor and starts great..and works great too..
