I have had a problem exactly the same as auroradan with his 1994 Lt-1 start right up run

2-4 seconds then shut down,I tried a vats bypass module-same thing,as did dan,I sent my pcm to pcms for less and had vats etc removed,results-runs perfectly,no more shut down problems, some people have good luck with the vats bypass module, but both auroradan and I did not,Thanks for all who tried to help,I took a chance and luckily it worked.

there are many pcm tuners,I read somewhere about pcmsforless, gave him a call, nice guy named Bryan who said he would tune my pcm same day recieved and then got it to ups so I recieved it the next day,I could not ask for better service,if anyone needs their pcm tuned I would definately give him a call

if spring ever comes in maine over 10 feet of snow this season my area, hopefully I will be ready for some of those excellent burnouts I have seen on this site.

I guess not,it seems that the pcm was shuting it down and the vats bypass module I used did not help-
