whats up guys i was doin some readin in a old ASE book and found this equation[math problem] that tells you exactly what carb you need here it is:

cubic inches X redline divided by 3456

you have to divide it by 3456 or it wont work

according to the article 70% of people have the wrong carb on there motor

so for a 350 with a 6500RPMredline

it would be

350 X 6500 div 3456 = 658.275 CFM

thought it would be useful to all of us let me know if you guys think it works or not it didnt specify SB or BB so let me know http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif

It may be OK for a street car in my opinion. It isn't close for a race motor. I guarantee mine will be slower if I change to a 650 carb.

I have a Holley 650 DP with a Proform center section on mine now and I am thinking I need to go up to a 750 to pick up a bit.
