Front suspension...

So i started to tear everything apart on my s10 and i noticed I have spring's no shock's what is everyone doing with there front ends?

Are you putting diff spring's and just putting drop spindles in etc etc? I need a lil help on this subject...any advice will be very helpful!!

i was on jeg's looking up shocks but the year went " 1982-89 S10 2WD truck " so now what do i do....just do drop spindles and springs?

There were no shocks in the middle of the springs? I used Belltech 2" dropped spindles and the V8 dropped it another 1" and 3" dropped leaf springs in the back. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_hammer.gif

2stagefogger, if you are using the stock hieght spring with a drop spindle, all you need is a stock hieght shock. I have drop spindles and drop spings in front. I use the Edelbrock shocks for the 2" drop. The only difference is the length of the shock. As for what springg to use. You can use the 4.3 spring or even on from a late 80 Monte Carlo. The Monte had the same front components. That also means you can use the shocks too.

yea there was no shock what so ever lol...are they supp 2 have shocks? I wanna go as low to the ground as possible...this truck will be an all out drag truck with a full 4 link system in the back..Im new to this stuff I was a mustang kid now i switched over 2 chevy i love the way the s10 looks....so i was stumppppeddd last night...So you guys are saying the shock should be in the middle of the srping? Im gunna go out to the garage in a little but I have to go pick my 350 block I baught " 4 bolt " main for 50 bucks http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif thank's for helping hopefully we can solve this lol
