View Full Version : BUBBA BurgerŪ anyone?
Anyone had BUBBA burgers?
I think they are great, not as good as a fresh burger but for a frozen burger, quick 6 minutes on the old George Foreman grill and you have a great burger.
The wife is out of town for the week so I am a bachelor this week, I can eat the good food!

Never heard of 'em. I 'll keep an eye open for 'em.
Bachelor for a week? No problem, long as you've got:
* Beer
* Bubba burgers
* S10V8.com
* Discovery Channel & Military Channel
* More beer
well I have to leave the beer alone for the most part, the wife is gone but I still have my boy, he's 16 months old.
I have everything else on that list though.

haven't had BUBBA burgers, but i will say that i actually prefer a frozen patty as compared to fresh ground beef and made by hand. unless of course it's someone's personal recipe of many amazing ingredients mixed in.
Weber grills and Kingsford charcoal FTW!

Some say that the secret to a good burger is lean beef with PORK fat. Probably can't buy 'em like that because the ingredients have to be disclosed... ?? I think the same goes with venison ground beef.

I'll have to try a Bubba Burger. But for taste, fresh ground beef, sprinkle in a generous amount of Cavenders Greek Seasoning. Mix well with your fingers and pat them out about 1 inch thick. When you cook them they shrink! Cook on Kingsford charcoal with hickory chips added. Put a generous amount of "dry" wood chips in the charcoal and after the flames go out put the burgers or steaks on.
For steaks, good side items, slice long ways some yellow squash or zuchini squash. Baste on some melted butter and sprinkle on some salt and pepper. Or better yet some greek seasoning. And put on some barbecue bread.
A meal fit for a King. I'll still try the Bubba Burger.

I second the bachelor week idea, my wife is off to Atlanta till Tuesday. :p Just me and the older two boys this weekend. The cooking thing I can handle (cooked @ a country Inn before I joined the Air Force), I cook better than she does. I'll be making home made Burritos and Tostadas Friday, but burgers might be a good option for Saturday.

Don't know if I have had them before, but have had other frozen burgers and I can say this sometimes fast and easy is the best. Plus on the grill = less mess.

Bubba burgers are awesome, probably the best frozen pattys that I've ever had! Plus they are way cheaper than going fresh if you have to cook for mass people. Only thing I don't like is that, pretty sure they come in an odd number of pattys cuz I always have buns left over...

I just recently bought some Bubba Burgers here in NH. I'd never seen them before. They were pretty good. My wife thought I was kidding about Bubba Burgers. She must have liked them, because she bought some yesterday when she went shopping.
