how did u guys bolt your motor?

mounts up?...the 2.8 i could not find a way 2 get a tap on my bolts:icon_mad: so i ended up welding them:confused:

Some of the newer trucks have the nuts welded from the inside so you don't have to hold them. Some folks take the front A-arms and stuff off and go into the frame that way. Other people cut holes in the bottome of the front cross member and stick a wrench in that way. Personally I welded mine because I made some 3/8" thick solid steel frame mounts and used my transdapt mounts with them.

its very easy,cut you bout 12 inch garden hose,stick the head of your bolt in it.guild it threw the A-fram into your holes,just make sure your bolts is long enuff to hold with a pair of vise grips when you try to tighten them then, cut off the rest of the bolt............real easy,well for me it was
