Here is a link to get firefox
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

or just type in your browser firefox.com

safari is also a good browser to use, both Firefox and safari are faster for me.

I only use internet explorer when I absolutely have to.

Here is where to get safari http://www.apple.com/safari/

Also curious of people experiance with internet explorer on the site?

Slow to load?

Not sure if it's just me or not but IE (internet explorer) is extremely slow.

I use the Internet Explorer because of how fast it works. This way I have time between mouse clicks to get coffee, use the restroom or drive to the store. I have the firefox, but don't use it often because everythings in my favortites in IE.
If any body can tell me how to move them quickly and easily I would use it all the time.

Easy,

File, Import... and select your options. It transfers cookies as well.

I use IE on this laptop. I have Firefox on my other. I'll try to see which loads faster.... I know uploading pics used to be very slow or impossible for me. But after the changeovers made couple months back the site uploads pics very fast for IE. Never did that with Firefox yet...

Firefox is faster for me no doubt, but I don't have the latest IE.

I'm on a dsl line and IE seems plenty fast for me. So I have never tried Firefox. Might be better though, especially on a dialup connection.

No matter what I do IE is slower than molasses going up hill in January.
I always keep it updated and do not have any add-ons but it's still so slow that I can't even use it.
FireFox has always been quick, and Safari seems to be even quicker, but I can't use safari all the time because I hate my Mac and it reminds me of it.

I use IE integrated into AOL.

Not too many choices with a dial-up connection, they're all slow.

Mine is usually pretty fast unless someone bumps my phone and knocks it off the acoustic coupler.

Mine will slow down if the cord between the cans gets loose.

I have IE with DSL and it works pretty good for me. As long as I keep crackin the whip. Got my old lady on a bicycle powering the generator. It's an overdrive pulley set up. If she hustles it'll make 2K watts easy! Have to feed her trail mix when we run the washer and drier.

Hey Mike. I revived my 8yo Sony Vaio by installing Ubuntu a year back and now running v.8.04 . The latest version of Safari for Linux is real nice...I'll have to try S10v8 later today when I get back home.

I've been a Firefox fan since I tried it back a few years ago when the beta was released.. the CTL+T function of firefox made it for me. (Ct+T opens a new window in the same browser window) EI has been playing catch up ever since Google "chrome" probably has more money behind it and could surpass Firefox as the high end browser but I like my mozilla.

It's Firefox for me, if I try to use IE it will crash my computer eventually since I'm still running an old 700mh HP Pavilion with Windows ME and a dial up connection... I have other backup computers running XP just in case... IE sucks big time in speed and security...

I have always used IE but tried Firefox, can't believe the difference, doesn't take an hour to open this web site now. IE has also been locking up and shutting down, haven't had any more problems, thanks for the suggestion. Can I change my vote

I have IE with cable hookup on 2 computers. XP on one & Vista on the other. Older one with XP is slow to load & won't always play the videos on here. The newer one with Vista I have no problem at all. But,I'll have to try Firefox on the old one to see what happens. Hate to miss a good burnout video.!
