ok heres what i got i have 68 vette 327 almost complete engine im throwing it in my s-10 of course i have all the mounts radiator so forth my question is the motor has the port for the on the block fuel pump should i block run a block pump or use a external or use the original pump but with a regulator ive been hearing different storys about either so i want some advice this is my first build and its going to be street mainly summer driven and another i heard a rumour from a few muscle car builders, since i have a 5 spd in the truck already that if i can find a mid 80 camaro/ firebird with the 5 spd that i should get the bellhousing from one and it will bolt up to the stock tranny i have already ??? so my question further on that is i have stock clutch will me getting a stage 2 clutch bolt up to the rear of the 327? with parts may i have to get also and is there any kits also so that i can beef the stock rear end its still a one wheel wonder but was debating to get a 9" from a ford but exspensive! but the truck i am building is a 2000 s-10 with a 2.2 thats coming out and has a 5 spd in it and does anyone think that i may have to get springs for the front from the weight ? also if anyone can help on this itd be greatly appreciated thanks

I would either run a mechanical pump, or an aftermarket electric. I have run both on mine. The trans behind your 4 banger won't hold up to any real HP. You will want to run the NV3500 ftom the 4.3 trucks if you want a 5 speed. I run the factory springs, but it does lower the truck. I am running the stock rearend, lincoln locked (not really recommended, I sure wouldn't do it again). You can get a posi rear out of another S-truck. The 8.8 swap is pretty popular, check the history of old posts for more info. If you can find a "pull-a-part" yard, all rearends are the same price, around $100. Hope this helps.

Throw in a few "."s at the end of the sentences and a few capital letters at the beginning of the sentences and it makes posts a lot easier to read, understand, and reply to.
