I started my project in September of 2005. The truck was from my dads company and they were upgrading the fleet to astro vans so I took one. It was a 95 with 150k and a clunked when you shifted into 2nd. I was 15 and I wanted a cool car so I had originally planned on putting a free 305 in it from my brother in laws 92 camaro RS. Well lets fast forward today I am 18 I have a 4 bolt 355 with LT1 rods, 11:1 comp, Ported World sportsman II heads, Compcams Xtreme energy roller with 1.5 harland sharp roller rockers. The rear is stock with 3.73 gears and a zexel torsen posi. I just got it driving this week after 3 years. My current plans are Moser forged axles, forged u-joints, and a TH350 with a 2800rpm stall and a manual valve body.
I'm at school right now when I get home I'll post pics.

Sounds like a nice combo. You might consider a 3200 rpm converter, because of the truck being so light, a 2800rpm stall speed may actually stall lower than what it is advertised as. Best to consult with a professional for advise on that though, someone like TCI: www.tciauto.com

I wondered about that with my truck being so light plus this motor isnt going to spin the converter like big block would either. Im going to call around to some local shops and see what they have for advice.

Also some other things ive done to it... I have a belltech 4/2 drop on it with nitro drop shocks. On the front I used spindles and springs, on the back I used blocks. It has Iroc rims. I gutted the interior and put it new ACC carpet and racing seats. I put a 98 front end on it and have a goodmark 2.5" cowl hood in the mail. I have dual 2.5" exhaust with thrush welded mufflers and an h pipe. Its dumped right behind the cab
