I have one of the best HID kits on the market available for the 2nd Gen S10, Blazer, or Jimmy trucks.
It is important to get a kit that was designed for your truck instead of a no-name generic HID kit. The S10 style truck has a complicated electrical system dealing with headlights, and my kit comes with instructions and ALL parts required to do this incredible upgrade.
This kit addresses AHLs and DRLs that are a common issue with our trucks when doing an HID upgrade.
This kit comes with everything needed to install a new HID lighting kit in your truck including:
*2 Black Box HID Bulbs
*2 Black Box HID Ballasts
*2 Ballast Brackets
*Plug and Play wiring harnesses (to work with factory wiring - no cutting)
*Zip Ties
*Proper resistor for your year vehicle
*Complete vehicle specific instructions
I currently only have 2 9005 kits - for low beams, and 2 9006 kits - for high beams. So when you order, please specify the following:
Year, Make and Model of truck.
Do you want low beam or high beam lights?
Price is $125 + S&H per kit.
NO GUESSWORK! This kit is designed specifically for our trucks!
Here is a picture of my truck with 8000K HID lights installed:

I can do paypal and money orders and I prefer money orders.
I can ship internationally.
All parts come with a 12 month warranty.
$125 for plug and play HID kit!

I have a lot of experience installing and selling these kits and specifically dealing with our trucks. You will not find a better more complete vehicle-specific HID kit on the market.

How many amps of current draw for your kit?

The HID kit that I have that would work on a first gen uses a dual-beam H4 bulb. The only difference is that you have to get a 7x6" headlight lens housing BEFORE you can get the HID kit.
The reason is that the first gen S10 (ex: 1992) uses H6054 headlight which is a sealed beam head lamp. You can not install HIDs in a sealed lamp. The new housing is around $30 and the kit that will work with it is $145.
Total for the 1st gen kit would be $175 + S&H.
If you are interested let me know and I can hook you up.

Got another question. I know most HIDs are single brightness, other than changing bulbs. What do you have or recommend for a hi/lo set-up for the street?

When it comes to true xenon HID kits there are two types:
1. The first is called "single beam". That is what my truck and any other 2nd gen S10 style truck uses. It uses one light bulb for low lights and one light bulb for high lights (Hence, single beam per light bulb)
2. The other is called "Dual Beam". That is what you see with most older vehicles and anything today that uses only one light bulb to control both high and low bulbs.
For the 2nd gen S10 in order to do all high and low HID you must actually purchase 2 kits. Most people only do one kit and put it in either their high or low but it is a really cool effect to have all 4 HID lights in the truck.
For the vehicle that uses only 1 light bulb for both high and low then I supply a kit that has a high/low setting (Using two bulbs) for $155. It is still a plug and play setup, but a little more money initially.
Did I answer your question?

I had purchased an H4 conversion already, but it was not HID. I was looking on Ebay and found a Germany imported set-up. They were the most expensive for a H4 HID.

Just trying to make sence of all this. I want a good quality kit that is for the H4 and I guess the 6000K or the 8000K bulbs. This still being capable of a hi/lo setting. What do you charge about for shipping? 70364

My shipping charge is actual shipping and to your zip code it would be around $15. So you'd be looking at around $170 total shipped for a plug and play hi/lo H4 bulb of either 6000K or 8000K.
Give me a few minutes, I am working on uploading some more pictures to show exactly what my product looks like.

Something that I have seen again and again with "German HID Kits" on Ebay is that they are usually made in China with the word Germany all over them. It's kinda sad to lie to the customer.
My Blackbox HID conversion kit uses the real deal VIPHID digital ballast with plug and play OEM wire harness kits:

The H4 kit sells for $145 + $10 S&H.
Do you need only the HID kit or do you need the conversion housings too? If you need the entire housing it is an extra $30.

My HID kits are guaranteed to be the correct color. We will exchange bulbs with you if you are not satisfied and if we can't get it right there is a money back guarantee.
You can buy the H4 lights from our website: www.TLG-auto.com
Go to misc. items, then to HID conversion lights and then select H4-2 and 10,000K.
I currently do not have any H4 lights in stock but they should be here by 1-3-2009. If you place an order I will ship them overnight as soon as they arrive. Currently our site only accepts paypal, but after the new year we will be able to accept credit cards for payment over the website.
Shipping would be the same for a 2 day order than a 3 day order. We ship with Fedex and it is almost always a standard 3 day delivery unless otherwise stated.
Again, our bulbs are guaranteed to be the correct blue color that you want - your satisfaction is our goal.

Hey Chris
Thanks for the quick reply, your product seems to be of great quality. I was curious if you were interested in a proposition? I'm interested in a 10k h4 kit and 10k 880 kit. I can promote your site by a link on the front page and as a sponsor on my official team site ( www.teamstreetpack.com ). I will add a link in my signatures as you being a sponsor, on this site and blazinlow.com. I will also promote by doing a vinyl sticker on my jimmy along with the others sponsors and other members of my team also have stickers of team sponsors displayed on their vehicles. We attend car shows and races in Las Vegas, Elko, Reno, Winnemucca, Pahrump and other towns in Nevada and were looking into hitting Lake Havasu AZ and some Cali shows. We also attend the CES and SEMA show. I know alot of members and others (friends and other clubs) that are interested in this modification and with me being a test dumbie, they will be sure to order theirs from who I got mine. Also we are sponsored by street trenz magazine and your logo will be pictured and mentioned as a sponsor in our up coming feature. After all that said I was wondering if we could work out a deal of $200 for both kits. I can provide plenty of pictures of them installed for your site and a how to if needed. Thanks once again for all the info and quick replys. Feel free to reply here or send me a private message.

I think it is an interesting proposition, we have been looking into doing some more marketing now that our website is up and maybe this is a good way to go. We'd like to see how it turns out and we're willing to work with you. I think with what you would provide in the way of marketing would be adequate along with $200 payment for the lights. Basically TLG Automotive would be purchasing $80 worth of marketing from you and your group. Please send me an email if you don't mind and we will continue discussing the details.
