I have a gmc sonoma and a 355 Chevy...

I'm trying to put a Chevy 355 small block into my 1991 GMC Sonoma (2WD, Extened cab) The Sonoma came with a 4.3 V6 stock. What parts do I need? I've got the motor, the transmission, and the exhaust headers... What else do I need?

I dont want to sound mean but if your asking this question then you need alot of help. Not a project you want to take on yourself. I suggest buying the v8 s10 swap manual from this site, and begain there.

The parts store has almost all the conversion parts you'll need. It sond like you already have the parts the store doesn't have... Ie the motor and tranny.

zr1 has a point do some research first the book is a very good start read some old post on hear and when u get into the real project every body on here is very knowledgeable when you have more specific problems
