Hey everyone been awhile since i have been on here but i used to spend every wakeing hour here.long story short i know teach a high school auto class.we have a 84 s10 that i built and we will be using it as a drag trcuk project.it was already of course a v8.But we just pulled it out and are putting ib a 500 hp small block that was donated to our program.so know we just need to beef the the rear and get some traction.its still a one wheel wonder. anyway i hope to get some ideas here and hopfully be a help to everyone also. thanks and i will soon post some new pics of the project as it continues.

The truck is running again!!!!!
Had to swap trannies, oil pans and carbs but it is running good.I can not believe how crazy this thing sounds. The Holley that goes with the engine started leaking when we tried to start it so we put on a 500cfm Edelbrock so far with no load it runs sweet. im sure on the track it will want the big holley back lol
here is me and one of my students

That is great! Teaching with visual results. Are you all planning a trip to a track for the whole class? They gotta see it in action!
