Accidents suck!! I'm still recovering from one and I was going 120k which is about 75mph never knew it would hurt so much to stop so fast.. But at least I wasn't driving my own ride:) Welcome to the site, have you made any plans for your Jimmy yet?

well theres so much snow outside right now that i think im gunna go off road with it plus its a 4 door so its not much of a street truck sorry to all you 4 door guys i have a 306 out of a nova in storage and i think it may find its way into my truck but gm is comeing out with a 4.5L duramax diesel im a millwright/welder and when i go to work i cant swing a bat without hitting a diesel mechanic now i just have to find a way to make it a business expense ;)

So you actaully want to make it a diesal? Or just stuff the 305 init? The diesal would be different. Altought GM did make an s10 diesal - it was in 83/84. That 4 banger was a smoking slug. Those new diesals have come a long way.

well i was looking at my diesel options my friend has an olds with a LF9 Diesel i don't know much about this motor but i think its just a modified 350 i can get the car motor and all for 500$$$ but it looks like it needs a LOT of work but as far as a diesel that would be the best option any info on this motor will help me alot will the block support a turbo also there is an amazing propane shop where i live and i would like to run full time propane injection i have seen this setup in action and if done right it works amazing if any one has an idea for a diesel put in your 2 cents

Welcome to the site! :icon_wave: A Diesel would be different and the newer GM engines are lighter and more efficient. :headbang:
