First we always ask that you ask a question in your threads title, so please do so from now on, thank you.

For the mounts, the best mounts to use are the ones we sell here, the 2.8 frame mounts and the conversion mounts.

If you're good you can make your own from the diagram in the book, all depends on if you have the material and equipment and knowledge to do so, otherwise it's usually easier to just buy them, they're only $41.95 for the set, and they are built right.

mikes right thought it for the price it will be worth it to buy them, and save the time you'd spend on building them and use it to fab something else for the truck

I made my mounts. If there was a web site and a how to manual when I built my 1st one , or 2 nd one or... 3rd.... I would have bought them. Altough you can make them, its making them fit is the key. The store bought mounts are done. Bolt them in. Thier jig welded so there the same this time, next time or how ever many trucks you chose to build.
Besides 40 bucks a set. Let see. steel - $?? , electric for weleder, $$ wire , $$ gas , time X# hours times $$$ per hour = a whole lot more $$$ than click "Buy it Now"

Sometimes my 2 cents aren't worth a dime.

It is easier to buy them. I would only recommend you making them if you have access to a burn table (oxyfuel, laser, plasma, waterjet). Otherwise you have to burn them by hand, grind them, try an locate the slots in the right spot and clean them up so they look decent. But if you absolutely must make your own.....

Here they are in PDF format - http://home.earthlink.net/~grimpuppy/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/Mounts.pdf

And autocad format (.dwg) - http://home.earthlink.net/~grimpuppy/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/mounts.dwg

P.S. You still will need the 2.8 frame mounts

there mounts are alot more afordable the having to make some like space is say you spend more on materials than just buying them.
