Well, you are right about the plugs being different between the stright and angle plug heads. Most old school heads are straight plugs, to include the well known Vortec. The plugs line up 90 degrees from the head. That mean all the plugs look straight to each other. The angle plug heads have a slight angle for the spark plug to aim more to the exhaust valve. When the plugs are in the head they are turned to the side about 15 degrees off the regular 90 degrees. A good example is a LT1 head.

I believe: looking at the outside of the plug where the wires go on they point toward each other \ / \ / instead of straight | | | |

These are angle plug heads. If you click the pictures tab up top and go to the FAQ gallery, I have quite a few more pictures of the angle plug heads.

Ok Thanks for the input grimpuppy.

Why I ask is that my plugs point down toward the ground about 15*(Pro Comp Heads). And you can not get the pulgs to go in do to the headers (Flow Tech Headers).

It would have been helpful for you to SPECIFY that you were talking about NON-GM heads and the BRAND of headers in your original post.

All the above information was posted on the ASSUMPTION that you were asking about GM Angle Plug heads vs. GM Straight Plug heads.

YOUR problem is that you have 2 different AFTERMARKET brands that were not properly researched, (by manufacturer or you), enough to determine if they would work TOGETHER for a specific application.

Where is your interferance? Is it at the Flange that runs the length of the head? Or is it at a Tube, where a Tube covers the Spark Plug hole?

I apologise for not posting more information. My original post was to help me gain some knowledge of the angle plug heads. A friend was tell me that the heads were angle plug. And if that were the fact then all I would of needed is some angle plug headers.

You may be right there but I was told by my local speed shop they would work knowing the heads, headers, and application. And this is my attempt to research further not sure where to go from here. I was hoping someone has used the Pro Comp heads. I'm also tryig to get in touch with Pro Comp for their suggestion.

My interferance is at the tube. And I'm already using the header plugs.

Are the FlowTech headers specified for an S-10?, or are they a "generic" Chevy header?

Pro-Comp is probably gonna tell you to get different headers.

The Flow Tech Headers Are for the S-10 V8 Swap. "Generic" probably It's the brand he keeps in stock, I have never heard of them before the day they were bought. I asked for Headman but at the time he did not have them in stock. Going back over there today he has some headman in stock now so I can compare the two.

The headers in my pictures are Headman long tubes. I have since changed my heads to angle plug Dart Pro 1 Platinums and they fit the same. No experience with the Pro Comp heads though.
