been reading here for a while and i am now starting my project. it is a 1997 s10 am i am putting a 6.0 denali engine with the ls1 intake exhaust and oil pan. here are the pics after i put the new lights. ill post pics of the engine tomarrow i just got it

Looks like a clean start! Might as well spend a little and upgrade membership atleast for a year. Multiple post per day will be handy as you venture into this.

Might want to rethink the LS1 manifold idea though.

im gonna leave it stock they come from factory with 325hp and 370tq and with an intake and exhaust i should have 300rwhp and 350rwtq.... thats enough

some update pics. i got the motor in and cut the a/c hole bigger and it still doesnt fix... the motor mount now is hitting the a/c braket that hold the a/c compresor.

Heck of a hole for oil pan clearance! Lots of restructuring to do though. Keep up the good work. You'll be roasting tires before you know it, LOL!

I cut out mine a bit wider more of a curve on the ends from center point on cross member ,just for added clearance and used 1/4" flat bar to box it in
