i like being my own boss.however, this might upset you a little, but here it goes.a friend of mine is being deployed to iraq after xmas(dec 26 to be exact).and though you me and most members get to go home, our boys and girls in uniform get deployed and some of them don't make it back.i know jobs do suck, but always know that somebody has it worst than you,me or most people.i might not be home for xmas my self, but hey there's always the after xmas party

well I served from 2006-2008 until I screwed up my knees and then they said I wouldn't be able to carry more than 50lbs and said my best option was to take a med leave from the Army, I dont regret any of it if I had the chance to do it again I WOULD. but thanks for serving the country man.

I second that comment ADH, Spent many a Thanks Giving and Christmas holiday season in the Middle East. I had the honor to serve during Desert Storm/Shield/Calm, Desert Fox, and the current Iraq war or was it a "conflict", the lines get a little blurry sometimes. :icon_razz: Not the Army though, was Air force (22 yrs) in Combat Comm. :smileyshot2: and I would do it again. This country isn't perfect, but well worth fighting for. :headbang:

I like my job it's easy (crane operater at a steel plant) pays good and the way companies are laying off these days, seems the little guy gets it before the over paid management. only ten years to go

Yes Heated and portable TV for afternoon shift (no bosses after 5 ) we also have sterio's and we used to have internet on crane onboard computers but they put a block on them now, one guy sent out over 5000 porno emails, dummy didn't know what he was doing sent them to every one in company here in Canada and in States and Brazil and shit the fan, he lost his job over it
