newbie here, on xmas day started a swap on a 92 s10.going with a 350/330 horse crate motor i had form a prev. truck (only 46,000 miles ) with the 5 speed trans that was in the truck. it had a 4.3 orig. in it.got all parts from summit because they are only 15 min. form me, it sure is nice. while i am mechanicaly inclined i am no pro mechanic. any help on wiring,fuel or anything you can think of please let me know.the truck was orig. aT.B.I. and i am going carb. the motor is out of a 86 1/2 ton p/u. thanks and i love this site all the post have helped a bunch .i will upgrade mem.soon work kinda slack right now Thanks,Bobby

as for the wiring there a many threads on that if you need help finding them let me now, are you gonna take the computer out or leave it in?

welcome to the site,lable all the wires before you pull the engine. depending on what parts you use. you can just use ones already there.if you use a mech fuel pump just unplug the electric in tank one and it will suck through it,or keep it and use a regulator.

like we tell most new guys check the old post tons of questions are easily answered although sometimes every truck is different.good luck and have fun

Welcome to the site. The rewiring for a carbed motor won't be difficult. Only a hand full of needed wires.
