Man nice job on the sliding sunroof! :headbang: Also the console looks great! Did you change to using the Camaro e-brake? If so that makes it even cooler.

Yeah, we shortened up the front cable and the rear ones actually fit the 9'' brakes.

Just goes to show you a lot of hard work pays off. Considering what you started off with,it looks great. I like all the extra attention to detail, seen or unseen. Inside is great. That's what the sunvisors are for, right? To hold your nose up while you go down the road.lol!! Seriously tho, it's a nice ride. Hope you have a blast in it. GM can't make them that nice anymore.Shame, huh?

you not lying man they don't make them like they use too. use to have a 1953 3/4 ton chevy truck and destroyed so many rice burners when i rolled over them and didn't even hurt the truck.

After looking a little close at the pics I have a question for you. Where did you get the link rods that go from the frame to the brackets on the rear end to prevent the axle from rolling? What are they called?
You got it, I'm definatly am not the sharpest knife in the drawer. LOL! Just trying to learn a little more.

Wow, nice job! Anyone can see you put a ton of work into it, and it shows. Great little truck.
And glad you did the pix, great job too, and worth that effort as well.

whats it made of aluminum and covered fiber glass as I need to make one for mineIf you have a gen 2 i think they make a between the bedrails cover for that.I'd buy it.if they don't i'd start with a sheet of aluminum, tig some square stock (1x1 or smaller)for a perrimiter,L channel to the inside of the bed rails with some spongy tape, like weatherseal, hinge it,couple gas shocks, done!sound simple?mine's glassoff a 04 silverado cut down.i didnt know the silverado bed bows up in the center,so it looked like a chuck wagon.we had to relief cut the underneath, clamp it straight with angle iron, and glass it back up.also all the outside edges had to be glassed up.its made of 2 thin sheets of glass with corrigated cardboard inside.who knew?it weighs a ton,but maybe that's why the truck leaves so hard???but every hundred pounds is a tenth of a second.trade off???

You got it, I'm definatly am not the sharpest knife in the drawer. LOL! Just trying to learn a little more.that's an old school ''sox and martin trick.all home made.the kid fabbed up the brackets for the 9'' and the frame out of 1/8in.steel.all you need is 4 hiam joints and a couple aluminum struts from a roundy round car.oh you also need a left handed tap.they are adjustable.i can get about 5 degrees out of them
nice side pipes lol
ghetto fabulous!
