I'm about to order some carpet for my 97 2 dr blazer. Has anyon heard anything bad about stockinteriors.com? I'm thinking about going with the ultra plush passenger area only for 184$. My interior is originally grey and I'm thinking about going with the charcoal color...any opinions? I also haven't decided if I'm going to peel and stick sound deaden the floor or just pay for the mass backing added to the carpet.

On a side note has anyone photo shopped a 97 2dr blazer in 2010 camaro orange. That's a color I've been contemplating for my truck.

So stay away from the mass backing. What do yall think about changing the carpet color?

What is Dynomat? My "carpet" came off a roll from Home Depot. It's this ribbed rubber stuff that you see around pools. It look great and Iwith the vinyl seat I can hose it out with a fire hose. It looks great. 35$ Including the glue to put it down.

As far as changing the color going darker is always safe but the other way around is risky.

I dynomatted my first s10 ext cab that was used for stereo competition and then had it rhinolined and loved it. The dynomat covered all the imperfections that would have shown up with just the rhino lining alone. After it was rhinoed I had it sanded to get the rough out a little bit and then had it clear coated to make it smooth. It came out looking like glass. I will have to scan some old school picture so I can post them. It was an expense but it worked great, sounded great, and looked fantastic. I thought it looked so good I was trying to get my wife to let me do the same thing to the outside of my house, but she would not go for it. As for you choice stockinteriors.com sells great carpet and I have used them for many of my projects, but like ZR1BLAZER stated you may need to trim them a little but it should fit good. I would not recomend grey if you have kids or work outdoors because it will stain and showup.

the install is done. charcoal looks great.

If I had it to do over again I would have sprung for the mass backing although it might have made fitment harder and that was no easy task as it was. I must have spent an hour to clean the floor and another 4 hours laying peel and seal on it. I would have to say no improvement noticed. If you do go the peel and seal option over the mass backed carpet you'll save about 60$.(took 4 rolls of 6"x25')

Carpet wise it must have been 5-7" of excess all around and the heel pad wasn't in the correct place.
