No one can say what you need without looking or having some angles given. The proper direction for the driveshaft should follow from the trans down to the pinion U joint and up to the rear. This means the tail of the trans should be higher than the pinion U-joint. That and the nose of the rear pointed down a little. The angles between the two u joints should be equal but opposite angles.

First I would measure it with an angle finder to see what you have. then proceed to shimming the rear for good angle.

if necessary you can also shim the tranny up

if dropped correctly you shouldnt have to change the angle. so if you used straight cut blocks your in trouble. you will need a set of angle cut blocks. i removed 2 leafs from mine and used 3" angle cut block made for an S10. been 130mph and no issues.

i lowered it 5 in the front and 5 in the back the blocks are straight cut. the drive shaft went in easy and and looks like a normal angle but im new at al this so im never sure about anything i do.

Are you actually having problems with vibration or what? I have lowered many different trucks from 3-9 inches out back and never had any driveline problems. Right now I have 3/4 drop on my v-8 S-10 and it has square cut blocks. There is no problems with it at all. I can stand in the throttle until my leg gets a cramp, and no shakes or vibrations.

WOW. because i used 3" straight cut iron blocks with stock springs on my 86 and when i got out on the main road i nailed it and in a block in a half i was hitting 110 i bent the shaft like a U and broke the yoke on the rear and threw that shaft about 8ft in the air. lucky i was able to keep it on the road and no one was behind me. i could have killed someone.

Usually you want the ponion pointing 2-3 degrees down and as already mentioned the trans should be parallel (2-3 degrees pointing up at the tailshaft). That way the rear is pretty close to straight when under hard accell.
