Guys I have found a brand new GM block wrapped in plastic at a house that I am working on. It was the ladys brothers , and she has no idea what it is or how much it is worth. I think it is a 427, but I may be wrong..is there a site or something that I can go to to look up the part #?

Just for curiosity when you get a chance see how many freeze plugs it has on the side of the block and see how many main bolts it has. Some 400 blocks have 3 freeze plugs on the side of the engine and some have 2 with a boss in the middle.
I've only seen 1 400 block that was a 4 bolt main and had 2 freeze plugs. All the others I've seen where 3 freeze plugs=4 bolt and 2 freeze plugs=2 bolt. But found one that broke the normal, so I'm just curious.
