What kind of truck did you have? I had an 05 Duramax chipped up that was a lot of fun. I switched to a s-10 blazer, much cheaper hobby...lol

05 Cummins, quad cab short bed 4x4,BD twin turbos, cold air,5" exhaust,F1 injectors,FASS 150 lift pump, bullydog scarry larry, head studs,O-ringed head,Goerend bros billet torque converter, input shaft, valve body, flexplate and gauges. I still have it,I just sold the bullydog programmer and I'm gonna keep it since it only has 36k miles on it, plus It's needed to tow my bayliner or jet skis lol! Icouldn't agree with you more, an s10 would be a much cheaper hobby because for the $12k in upgrades that I spent on this thing I could've had a MUCH FASTER S10 lol!

Are you interested in the weight for drag racing reason or are you trying to decide if you need bigger springs?

Just curious, I am putting sbc in mine and wanting to see what it would take to make a low 12s to high 11s in a non daily driven street truck.

My truck, when I had the iron headed 350 in it, simple 4 point bar inside, weighed in at 3275 with me in it. I weighed, at the time 225. now with alot of trimming aluminum heads, 8 point, it weighs in at 3015# with me in it. as far as the 12 Grand lol I wish I had of stopped there. Well no I really don't, cause I now have a truck that is streetable, makes a 30 mile cruise and 3 back to back hot lap passes, and is capable of high 8 second passes. Whatg a blast to drive this through town and see peoples reactions.

Aluminum dash, one aluminum racing seat, no inner fender wells, 10 point cage, body is all steel. It was 2850 without me in it with iron heads, so maybe 2780 now with the aluminum heads.
